In 1860 Prince Alfred, second son of Queen Victoria’s crown of the British Empire began construction of ports in Cape Town which was completed in 1870. Pier is named Alfred Basin. Also completed in 1905 built a second jetty, named Victoria Basin.The building of this ancient port is now developed into a tourist attraction complete with shopping and entertainment facilities are better known under the name Waterfront. Here there are 240 shops, 42 restaurants, 8 Pub, 7 hotels and 18 cinemas. You can also visit Two Oceans Aquarium that presents a variety of fish and sea world.
