I have done many test in cooking. Most people have never had or made "Cajun or Blacken" Mushrooms and they do not know what they are missing~~! I like using my electric griddle in this type of cooking. This time I used a good amount of butter to start, then added Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Whiskey, fiery Chili cooking oil and blackened seasoning. Then I added my mushrooms, onions and bell peppers. After that I added some coarse ground salt and black pepper. Then I added my sausage into the middle of the veggies as they were cooking. Experiment with different seasons and sauces when you are cooking your veggies. You will be surprised at the great different taste that you create. I have tested all kinds of BBQ sauces when grilling the veggies and the taste are just fantastic. Try the Kraft spicy BBQ sauce and others for fun. Jack Daniel's Old No. 7 Whiskey is my favorite in cooking. Any good whiskey will do. Wine is very good to use in this as well.
