Sembalun Lawang Village

Sembalun Lawang is a village at an altitude of 1156m above sea level (asl), at Northern of Mount Rinjani, Lombok. The temperature is quite cold with the rural atmosphere complete with rice paddies, tropical forest surrounded by pomp igneous rock cliffs with a slope approaching 90 degrees.

When we will enter the village, our eyes will be pampered with a majestic view of Rinjani. Around the village seemed protected by a giant stone wall, the freezing material vomited Rinjani for hundreds of years ago. The walls of moss-covered rocks and crowned the grass as if to keep forever Sembalun Lawang.
When you stay there, you can see the rising sun on the eastern slope. This will be the beautiful photography object. You can also climb to the top of the cliff.
When the time is late morning, the adventure can be forwarded by joining the farmers, or pulled over to the eastern slopes, enjoying the fresh air, are among the protected forest.
