Gili Trawangan is the largest of three islands or dyke (Gili Islands), located on the northwest of Lombok. Gili Trawangan is also the only dyke which height above sea level is significant. With a length of 3 km and 2 km wide, Trawangan population of about 800 inhabitants. Among the three dyke, Trawangan has the facilities for tourists of the most diverse; store Tir Na Nog claims that Trawangan is the smallest island in the world where there is an Irish bar.
Trawangan has more shades of “party” than Gili Meno and Gili Air, because of the party all night every night rotated. Popular activities conducted in Trawangan tourists are scuba diving (with PADI certified), snorkeling (on the northeast coast), kayaking, and surfing. There are also several places where the tourists can learn to ride horse around the island.
Gili Trawangan is the largest island of the three islands, better known as the “Party Island” a majority of tourist coming young children, majority of the resorts (accommodation) located east side of the island, with prices ranging from $ 5 to $ 78. After diving you can be having fun every night in one of the party organizer, or relax together with the other diver-diver.
